The first Thinkpad I ever got, and so far it has been quite reliable! Much more so than my pathetic L300D that I had prior to this. It has had several hard drives put into it, not because they have all failed however, but because of my wonderful ability to want to swap drives around to "improve" the current drive situation. It has also had several different operating systems put on it, starting at XP and extending to even several Linux distros.
As of right now, it is being used as a portable machine so I don't have to take my good T500 everywhere I go. That may change in the coming weeks, however, as I have a T400 that I might find some bits for.
Note that this machine is now no longer mine. It is replacing my brother's laptop, which ended up with a busted screen.
