This is a system that was built, originally for me, in 2006, around the Vista launch. To this day, it is the only system that has run Vista satisfactorally for me.

Notable Information

Processor: Intel Pentium D 820 @ 2.8 GHz
RAM: 2 GB DDR-800
Has an 80GB Seagate drive as the boot drive. Files are stored on a RAID array using a Maxtor and a Seagate, both 80GB drives. The plan is to add a third drive to the RAID card in case one fails.
Display: None.
Has the ATI video card, a RocketRAID 1740 RAID card, and a TP-LINK gigabit ethernet card (onboard gigabit failed).
Keyboard is a trashpicked IBM KB-7953, mouse is a cheap eMachines PS/2 ball mouse I received in a box of computer junk.
OS: Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit, Windows Embedded POSReady 2009, and Linux Mint Debian Edition "Betsy"
Current status: Retired, in storage.
